Russia rains down S-300 missiles in Ukraine's East || At least 11 people have died and 22 more are wounded after Friday's strikes on residential buildings in the eastern city of Sloviansk, according to an update from the State Emergency Services.
The Ukrainian agency said four more people may still be trapped under the rubble Saturday. A 2-year-old boy was among those killed in the assault.
“A total of 75 tonnes of rubble have been dismantled at the site,” the service's report said. The strikes hit apartment buildings, houses, administrative buildings, and a schoolyard.
At least eight explosions rocked the city Friday afternoon local time, as Russian forces targeted it with S-300 rockets, according to Sloviansk Mayor Vadym Liakh. The S-300 is a series of long-range surface-to-air missile systems developed by the former Soviet Union. It was produced by NPO Almaz for the Soviet Air Defence Forces to defend against air raids and cruise missiles. The S-300 is still regarded as one of the most potent anti-aircraft missile systems in active use in Russia.
Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy offered his condolences to the families of the victims and said that "not a single hour of this week before Easter has gone by without Russian murders and terror." "Rescue operations are underway in Sloviansk, Donetsk Oblast. Another terrorist attack. S-300 missiles fired at residential areas, at ordinary civilian buildings," Zelenskyy said in his nightly address. "There are people under the rubble. Everything is being done to save them, everything is being done to save the wounded. We have the first information about the dead. My condolences to those who have lost their loved ones," he added. With Russian mercenaries advancing westwards from the city of Bakhmut, Ukraine is preparing its troops for a large-scale counter-offensive. The UK's Ministry of Defence says Kyiv still holds western districts of the town - but said Moscow is stepping up its artillery attacks. Sloviansk lies in a part of the Donetsk region that is under Ukrainian control. It is close to territory controlled by Russia.

You are uninformed. The driver of the armata accidently applied the brakes and didnt know what he did. These men were conscripted in 2014 and were prepaired mentally for the parade. You can see that this os the reason because the tow vehicles could not move it until an actual tank sriver came over. Turned off the brakes, and then the tank drive off.

@@99zxk Yes, They essentially wanted pretty boys to be in the parades, rather then actual combat ready soldiers. Although this has been changed since 2015, as that parade was quite an embarrisment.

Americans is the most high spending people. And russians are making cheap but effective.
"Cheap but effective" Autoloaders require more maintenance than manual loaders, can't use as many types of shells during combat, requires power, most have to put the cannon at an angle in order to load, and can make conditions inside the tank worse. But they do have faster reload times and better crew survivability. Manual loaders are slower but have better shell flexibility, can allow for more crew members that can take certain roles if certain crew members are taken out, and the extra crew can also help with maintaining the tank itself. The armor across both remains relatively the same.
